Active Membership - $40 (January 2012 - December 2012)
Qualifications: All duly elected or appointed treasurers, deputy or assistant treasurers, or other employees charged with the performance or supervision of one or more of the following fiscal responsibilities: receipt, tabulation, custody, deposit, investment or disbursement of public funds are eligible.
Associate Membership - $75 (January 2012 - December 2012)
Qualifications: Individuals representing institutions whose operations are closely allied with or who are otherwise interested in the functions of treasury management are eligible.
Step One -- Is your member information up to date?
- Click on Online Membership Directory below.
- Search for your last name by typing it in the search field. Click on “Search.”
- If you see your name listed, click on it. (If it’s not listed, it means you aren’t a member. To become a member see “Not a Member?” below.)
- Review your information. If changes need to be made, click on the Update Member Information link and make your changes and click on “Submit Updates.”
- If there are no changes, click on the Back to Membership List link.
Step Two -- Renew Membership and Pay for Yourself and/or Other Members
- Click on Renew your 2012 membership online! above.
- Search by agency or city.
- Select the member(s) you'd like to renew and click on the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
- Follow the instructions on this page called Renew Membership Confirmation. Please review the information and select “Cancel Renewal” if the information is not correct.
- If the information is correct you can either pay by credit card using the "Print Invoice / Pay" button below or you can pay by check by clicking on the "Print Invoice" button and sending payment to the address listed on the invoice.

The Washington Municipal Treasurers Association was founded in 1983 as a non-profit association. The elected 12-member Executive Board strives to maintain programs directed toward achieving the following goals of the organization:
- Promote education,
- Provide opportunities for information networking,
- Improve the quality of service to citizens,
- Support the mission, purpose, and involvement in the Association of Public Treasurers of the United States and Canada,
- Work constructively toward the advancement and improvement of the treasury management profession,
- Promote cooperation between state, county, and local agencies, and
- Certify investment policies of governmental entities.
Membership Fee
